Joint Animal Services Offers Free Pet Adoptions August 26–29

Residents of Olympia have a unique opportunity to expand their families with a furry friend this week.

 

Joint Animal Services is hosting a Waived Fee Adoption Event from Tuesday, August 26, through Friday, August 29.

 

Thanks to the generosity of the Best Friends Animal Society, adoption fees for all available animals will be waived during this period.

 

This initiative aims to connect pets with loving homes while alleviating shelter capacity.

 

Each adopted pet comes with a preliminary exam, vaccinations, dewormer, microchip, and is already spayed or neutered.

 

By adopting, community members not only gain a new companion but also support the shelter's mission to care for more animals in need.

 

Interested individuals can visit the shelter between August 26 and August 29 to meet adoptable pets.
